Life isn’t all about seeing time pass away to realise the end and attain moksha. It is indeed all about enjoying every moment and making every moment enjoyable. The joy being referred to here is attained by people in a multitude of ways. While some go along the path of spirituality, a few others transverse along the path that forbids it. People also search for joy in food, clothes, comfort and various other things. However, one needs to accept that the joy felt needs to be something that can be cherished later on in life and something that once can be proud of. And one such thing that satisfies these criteria is adventure on vehicles.

The unknown biker

Some things are meant to be experienced while others are meant to be known from the experiences of the people around us. Problems arise when an attempt is made to make this axiom dysfunctional, however adventurous the task might appear. As a student of an engineering college, I was as any other student driven by impulses. The heroic stunts performed by my colleagues mesmerised me and the applaud they received afterwards made me jealous quite a number of times. Such was my determination in those days that I diverted the money that was meant to pay my college fees to buy a new bike.

Revert the change

Change is the essence of existence, life and continuity but devoid are they of change. Change is the driving force that helps one travel from one time frame to another. Change is the thing that breaks monotony and leads to the arousal of interest in life. Change is the crux of survival- survival that demands past experiences to be forgotten. Change is what leads to demands innumerable for changes to be incorporated by the law, by the legislation, by the executive, by a human, by a society, by nature and by the Almighty.

The household lady

Life is an uninteresting affair when one if forced to adhere to a routine that hardly gives time for oneself. When the routine is deviated from, chaos sets in and the whole life goes in for a toss. But at the same time, following the highly rigid, inflexible timings makes one weary and lifeless. A compromise is reached often sacrificing self-interests for the benefits of the family. Let’s take a superficial look at the life of Rekha, one among the millions of married women who strive to attain a balance between personal life, family and office. This was what one particular page from her diary had got to say. In fact, the date over the page might change when flipping the pages but the content and the hidden pain and of course the happiness towards the end is bound to remain the same.
